What we use today
TripTide uses browser storage and may use strictly necessary cookies to remember account sessions, pending saves, and interface state. We do not use advertising cookies or analytics cookies.
To understand how the product is used, we run Plausible Analytics, a cookie-free measurement tool. It stores nothing on your device, collects aggregate counts only (for example how many visitors generate a trip plan), and never receives the text you type, your itinerary, or anything that identifies you.
Necessary browser storage
- Authentication: keeps you signed in through our account provider, Supabase.
- Saved-trip flow: remembers a pending trip while sign-in or saving is completed.
- Interface state: remembers temporary choices, dismissed notices, or the current planning state so the product behaves consistently.
This storage is used to provide features you request and is not used to build an advertising profile.
Third-party services
Supabase supports authentication and saved data. Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on the site; when fonts load, Google may receive technical request information such as your IP address and browser details. Plausible Analytics processes anonymous, aggregate usage counts without cookies or persistent identifiers. If error monitoring is enabled, technical error reports (without your messages or trip content) may be processed by Sentry to help us fix failures.
Links to external operators and booking platforms are governed by those providers' own cookie and privacy notices after you leave TripTide.
Your choices
You can remove or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking necessary storage may prevent sign-in, saved trips, or parts of the planner from working correctly.
If TripTide later introduces optional analytics or marketing technologies, we will update this notice and provide consent controls where required.
